What I dream about my future job

 Hello!

I would like to be able to dedicate myself to filmmaking. I find very interesting the experience of being able to record a story that you imagined. To be an artist means being able to open all your senses and allow that artistic process to flow differently from how you imagine it. The final result is always very different from the first idea. I think it is a beautiful job, because it is a job that is done with a team, collaborating, and it is very dynamic, a process that can be developed from several specific areas, which all contribute to the same common goal. I think that is the most wonderful thing. It can be in an office or outdoors, it is a versatile job.

Also I would love to have the opportunity to work filming in different parts of Chile and the world. I think it would be a wonderful experience to understand other work dynamics in other countries.

It is for the same reason that I started studying Film and Television at the University of Chile. But it was not my first choice, when I entered this career I was amazed year after year with the teamwork and the possibilities of creation.

I believe that working in film, especially in Chile, is a challenge, because it depends only on competitive funds provided by the State, and there are few funds, there is competition, but also a lot of difficulty to live from this work.
