The park and the unforgettable south

Hello everyone!

I want to tell you about one of the best experiences of my life.

The best vacation of my life was in the summer before entering university. Me and two friends planned a trip to the south of Chile, crossing to Argentina.

We traveled through many towns in the south of Chile, starting in Pucón where I visited my favorite national park, the Huerquehue Park, then we continued down to Puerto Fuy which is located on the border with Argentina, and then followed the route of the seven lakes from San Martín de los Andes to Bariloche. The trip lasted almost three weeks and a little more.

I went with Benjamin, a friend that I met as president of the student center of my high school,  where he also was the president of his school.

We ate sopaipillas, camped in forests, swam in lakes and rivers. We also met many people who were traveling like us in trucks. That way of travelling made us very close friends.

I think it was the best vacation I ever had because I felt truly free, to be able to travel, to know new places, without the family present, and because seeing the landscapes of the south of Chile was one of the most impressive things I have seen.

Thanks for reading me!

See you in the next publication.
